The red painted hand represents courage and honour. To demonstrate their superiority, young warriors would charge their horses into the enemy, touching and imprinting their painted hands on the enemy or the flanks of their war ponies.

The Painted Hand Casino has been a huge success and to enhance the Yorkton market, SIGA is looking forward to completing a new facility which is currently under construction. The new development is situated on the Kahkewistahaw First Nation and is a joint development with the Yorkton Tribal Council.
